Shinkansen impressions

I planned to go to Kyoto with boyfrend long time ago, and at last I went there this month, using 3-day holidays. A friend of mine recommended me to buy Shinkansen + hotel set at JCK company.
We wanted to visit as many spots as possible, so we chose the time of departure as 6:20 in the morning. I think that the other option (departure at 10:30 AM) is also very convinient. Shinkansen seats are reserved ones, and it is great. We checked in a hotel close to Kyoto station, it was very clean and made good impression, both lobby and the room.
We visited a lot of sightseeing spots, such as Golden Pavilion, Heian Shrine etc. We returned to Tokyo by Shinkansen departing in the afternoon, so we managed to have some rest in the evening.
We really enjoyed that travel!
